Since 1957, Alkuone has been putting on successful performances both within Belgium and abroad, and helping its members discover the world. The flag-waving section can perform acrobatic and spectacular routines where the flag regularly soars high into the air. Synchronized waving can also be executed by a very large group, enhancing the visual impact with our colored flags.
The dance section of the group can perform various choreographies within modern dance, primarily focusing on serene and polished routines in smaller groups. The percussionists energize the flagwavers with tight beats and powerful drum performances. They are an enthusiastic and high-energy bunch that can captivate the audience even without the flag-waving element.
